Entertainment: Quotes of the Week

domain names

This week we've had some interesting, funny and provocative quotes via @MYOBShow on twitter. Below are the best.

"Doing nothing is better than being busy doing nothing"
- Lao Tzu

"We are all here on this planet as tourists. None of us can live here forever"
- Dalai Lama

"Hard work without talent is a shame, but talent without hard work is a tragedy"
- Robert Half

"You'll never leave where you are, until you decide where you'd rather be"
- Robert Brockman

"Sometimes things become possible if we want them bad enough"
- T.S. Eliot

Lao Tzu gets my quote of the week as I can't think of any bigger waste of time than busying yourself with nothing! If your not busy find something useful to do or save your energy for when you are busy, that's my 10 pence anyway.

Busying yourself with nothing because your job is not worth your time? To find out which jobs are worth your while read Self Employed Business Success and Three Elements of Success.

Another quote which stuck a cord with me this week was the one by Robert Brockman talks sense too. For many years I accepted what I was doing as the only option because I didn't know what else to do. To live the dream you must first have a dream. From that you can work out where you need to go to make it happen.

Those are my quotes of the week. I will leave you with a very practical quote of my own "Never start anything on a full or empty bladder, if you do, it will only go wrong in one of two ways".

Take care,

Dom O'Neill
