When was the last time you took a break?

Us freelancers are terrible at giving ourselves time off to rest and recuperate.  You work hard so why shouldn't you have some time off?

Think you don't have the time or the money to take a break? Listen to Feature 3 of Show 8 or read the blog  Invest in Rest to find out why you cant afford not too!

There are always times in the year when you know you won't be too busy. The start of the financial year and the end of the calendar year are two times that come to my mind. If you know you are going to have time off why not treat yourself! You wallet and health will thank you in the long run.

To avoid disappointment and to make sure you don't waste your precious free time on today's show we talk through the do's and don'ts when choosing a good value holiday... and not a cheap one!

No matter what you do or who you freelance for in the arts, media and creative industries you are human and it's OK to give yourself a break (even if it's only for a couple of days)!
