Berwick-upon-Tweed (the last town in right at the North East of England) is transformed into a massive cinema for the 9th Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival. On show will be many specially commissioned and imaginatively curated films, installations and events.

The easiest and quickest way to get to Berwick-Upon-Tweed is on the train.
Berwick-upon-Tweed has a main line train station on the East Coast Main Line which is serviced by East Coast trains, Cross Country and Northern Rail services from London, Newcastle Edinburgh and beyond. You can get great prices on pre-booked train tickets via the trainline.com website.

What is a Project Surgery?

They are aimed to assist with project and company development, providing guidance to writers and filmmakers working within the North East of England* with a feature, treatment or TV idea/script project. 

  
What will it involve?

A surgery will include a 1-2-1 session and written notes on your script from a leading industry professional.
  

 What do I need to apply?

You will need to email your script or treatment and your CV which should include your name, address, email and telephone number.
